Teeth whitening uses hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide that contain free radicals to bleach out stains on your tooth enamel thereby achieving excellent results. The degree of whiteness varies from individual to individual, but most people respond very well to teeth whitening treatment.

As a side effect of the treatment, your teeth may feel a little sensitive during and/or after the initial treatment. This should settle down after approximately 48 hours. The dentist can also give a special gel to apply to your teeth to help with the sensitivity.
